Very Long Wednesday

My day actually started at 1:30 am. Little Man was up and wanting to curl up with me. Since the loaner bed was so small, there wasn’t any room for him without kicking dad out of bed. Not a good idea at 1:30. So I had him go get his pillow and blanket and meet me in the living room. I set up the pillow and blanket on the couch and planned on currling up to a little cartoons. Only I forgot they stop cartoons at 10pm and don’t start them again until 6am. So there wasn’t any cartoons on at 1:30. But we curled up anyway. Soon he was out again. Probably close to 2. I snuck off the couch and curled back in my bed, only sleep didn’t come until close to 3.

So, it seems I have a rather large todo list today. Mostly since I completely forgot, via it getting buried, that Derric had a Me Project to do. He is to decorate a doll of himself and turn it in today. It got lost under papers and laptop, and many other things that are scattered across the table. Bad me.

So I got adventurous today. I was to meet up with a lady that was going to show me where the gym is on base, but because my alarm only sounded once, then went off only once after the snooze, I didn’t get up. My normal routine is hit the snooze button for 30 minutes to slowly wake myself… Now I only have the option to hit snooze once… Not that grand. I woke up 10 minutes before the kids were to head out the door…. I ran late to the school. Got there just as the kids were entering. I stayed for a bit, looking for the lady, but never saw her, so I came home.

We are settled into the house. While waiting for stuff, we have spent alot of family time. It has been nice not having the kids fuss because they aren’t allowed to zone infront of a tv, since there was no tv, out of sight, out of mind lol.
