I forgot to write yesterday. Not because it was a long day or anything, but mostly because, I just forgot.
For those that answered my husband’s two questions from the other entry, he had no real reason for wanting to know. He loves to ask questions that make people think and have discussions on them… I normally do to, and I enjoy the talks we get into with those questions, but this time he asked two I just couldn’t answer in a way to get that conversation going, so he said to ask my readers, maybe with those answers we could.. I told him non would like the questions or even answer them. Or if they did, they would answer the same as me… Seems I was right.
So we have a President Elect. Obama. As I have said before, I am not all the up to speed with politics, since I feel a headache when trying to understand any candidate says.. I have been noticing a lot lately at many of my sites that there are a lot of people now scared or worried about the next 4 years with Obama in office… A good majority of them are in the Military Groups…. And I wonder why? No I didn’t care for Obama’s character when I did catch some of his speeches, but that doesn’t mean I am scared… Or worried… I always worry about what the future will be like right after the election, not because of who won, but because how our nation seems to split for these elections… I have had a couple friends voice that they have lost friends because of this years election…. Why? Is this nation’s political hatred so bad that we have to drop our friends because of their choice in a candidate? If so, we are a sad nation.
I will say, I am to the point of being very tired of hearing about this election… I am tired of hearing about how several Key states didn’t get their absentee ballets out to people overseas (Yes, two of my friends here didn’t get theirs and they have been waiting for them). But most of all, I am tired of hearing from OTHER countries how the American’s should be worried for their future while they rejoice our President Elect… Thank You news networks, like I don’t have enough on my plate, I now need to figure out just what you are all talking about too? Give me a break, please! I am tired of this. I am tired of all this hate.
So to get away from the hate for a day, I headed over to the Elementary school and watched the “Lantern Parade” for St. Martin’s Day. St. Martin’s Day isn’t until the 11th, but the elementary school is closed today and Friday for Parent/Teacher conferences, then again on the 11th for Veteran’s Day. So they held the “parade” for Wednesday. It wasn’t really a parade. All the kids made a Lantern in the Host Nation class. They all got in a big circle in front of the school and sang the Lantern Song. It was cute, and I took both camera and camcorder to the school. But right after setting up the camcorder, and had it centering on the kids, a bunch of parents got in my way so the two minute recording is more of the parents then the kids. Thanks… But I did get a couple cute shots for Derric and Xavier.

Today was the day for people to attend the polls. Today is the day that the American people will decide our nation’s next president. To all those that Voted, thank you. No, I did not vote. I am not even registered to vote. I have never registered and honestly, I feel very overwhelmed with politics, I tend to leave it to those with much more info then me. I am always confused when I hear the canidates speak, I have yet to understand a word either say. I personally can’t seem to get what they answer when asked questions, I can’t seem to follow any of their plans. I have never understood politics.
With that said, I will say Thank You again to those that did vote.
Now onto other stuff…
I have felt like shit all day. Litterly. I have wanted nothing more then to just curl up and sleep the entire day away. But I couldn’t. Kauchana needed to go back to the dentist, one of her metal bands fell out again. That needed fixed. I was supposed to call housing maintenance to come take a look at the dryer, but when I went downstairs, the laundry room was trashed. Stuff that wasn’t supposed to be in there, was, you couldn’t walk in there at all, it was packed. No wonder the kids have been using the upstairs bathroom, they couldn’t access theirs!! So they were to clean it out and up today. They had better. Especially after the little lie I got told about why it was like it was….
I also needed to go to the BX and get some tubs to put bedding stuff in and rag towels, but again, I just felt like shit and didn’t. I really hope tomorrow I feel better. The Elementary school is doing a Lantern Parade for St. Martin’s Day. St. Martin’s Day isn’t until next week, but it happens to fall on Veteran’s Day, so they are holding it this week. I want to go take pictures, maybe even video tape it…
My husband is in a “What if” mood and has some questions he would like to ask ….
1. How much money would it take for you to walk away from your current relationship with only one thing, be that child, house, car, etc., but only one? With the rule, once left, you could not go back.
2. How much money would it take for you to allow your spouse to have a no strings attached one night stand?
These are both questions he asked me, then asked me to ask you, my readers. I pretty much told him how you would all answer, but said to ask anyway, so if you feel like answering him, feel free…
I can’t think of anything else to write, so I think I will end here… Go read to Derric, putting him to bed, then probably crash myself… I don’t know yet…. Hope you all have a good day!

There are a lot of things going on in November…. First off, we have National Native American Heritage Month. You know, I remember back in the 5th/6th grade it was only a week long, always right over Thanksgiving.. I remember making a comment in one of my High School history classes that it should be longer then a month, and got the meanest looks… Then, shopping yesterday at the commissary, they had a huge banner displaying the Heritage of the Month, and this month was native american…. cool…
Second: We have NaNoWriMo, NoJoMo, and NaBloPoMo. So many reasons to just write.. Either you write a novel with the National Novel Writing Month organization, you can journal away with the November Journal Month over at OpenDiary, or just post a blog daily with the National Blog Posting Month group…. So why aren’t we all writing? LOL.
I know I meant to post on Saturday, but after spending 90% of my day doing laundry at the laundry mat at Vogehwel, I am was more then happy to just curl up in the bed and pass out. I am going to try very hard to keep with the trend. I will post something everyday, or at least try very hard to… Who will join me? I hope some of you will! I will either have pictures, rants, or plans being posted daily. I invite you all to join in and lets see what all we can get posting about!
