You Mean A Mall is Not A Mall
We got the itch to just get out. So we headed to the Crabtree mall. This mall is huge, two stories, three “exits” to get into it, just huge! BUT, it sucked. The layout was just weird, they actually had sign posts in it. Each hall looked like the last that we went in a circle once and didn’t realize it. Had some pretty good stores, finally went to a build-a-bear. I think I will be going back, I loved it. I want to get a bear for myself lol. Disappointed that the mall didn’t have a hot topic or a spencers. But it did have a Disney store and Wilson’s Leathers. How I love wilson’s.

Wandered over to the B&N that was next door to the mall, kid section sucked, didn’t have the Thomas toys, but I did like how the sci-fi section was right next to the kids’ so I could keep an eye on the kids while I looked at some books.

This weekend I finished my Harry Potter #7. All I will say on that regard is very surprising ending. Kevin picked up the book and is now reading it, and I know I have a few friends that are reading, so I will stay hushed until I get the OK to talk about it lol.

This weekend was ok, nothing special happened, Kevin and I played EQ2, Erin came over, Kevin worked on her computer, dishes were done, laundry worked on. Over all, just a weekend.

Saturday night I stayed up all night to finish the book, I didn't mean to, I actually meant to save the book for the full week, but when Kevin finally curled into bed, it was just too late to curl in myself, so I figured I would stay awake and get a start on my day. That didn't happen either. Instead I curled up on the couch, Derric got up early and I had to deal with him. He was still very tired but was refusing to go back to sleep….

Right now, I just have one question…. Is summer over yet?! Someone please tell me it is. I don't know how much more I can take of Xavier and Derric fighting. And I am really going to start hearing it when they start sharing a room!!!  But of course everyone says Dokota needs his own room, so I get to listen to non stop fighting from Derric and Xavier… Oh this is going to be so fun! *please note the sarcasm* (more…)

It is 1:49am. I have been home for about 15 minutes. We drove to Greenville after Kevin came home from work early. Had a nice dinner at Olive Garden then headed to Barnes and Nobel. I had pre-ordered the book, got "sorted" into my "house" mostly it was just X amount in 4 areas. Since I had reserved the book, I got into the "reserved" sections. We were the last two groups to go. Glad to see reserving something early means I get it last.

The place was geek central. Litterly. They actually started a full out "new year" countdown 10 seconds from midnight, but didn't even start handing the books out until 5 past. Nice huh?

I got my book at 12:42am. I am so annoyed with what I went through to get the book that I don't even want to read it. I will, just not until Monday sometime more then likely.

I informed Kevin to shoot me the next time I even contemplate doing that again. He promised he would. My feet hurt and I have book two of the forgotten tales in DragonLance to read.Yes folks, I will be reading DragonLance before I read Harry Potter… That is how annoyed I am with what I had to freaking go through to get the book.
